Violin and viola lessons for students aged three to adult.
Michael Potter-Schneider has performed throughout the United States, Italy, and Japan with renowned orchestras and chamber ensembles. His students have created successful music education programs in Florida and Wisconsin.
Teaching Philosophy
Learning an instrument helps children discover new ways to engage with their social, emotional, and physical learning. Lessons build life long skills that help students analyze complex problems and have the determination to successfully tackle those challenges.
Music for Healing
Michael was formerly the Program Director of Sharing Notes, a Chicago non-profit that brought live music into hospitals. During his tenure he performed over 100 visits at both children and adult hospitals, leading to a life long love of music as a social connector.
